How much have we spent on fuel on the Supra???

Hi all, i have been an owner of the Supra for 2 + years and counting now, and in the 1st year, i had my n/a and in my 2nd, i have got the TT.
I was working out based on my monthly spending on fuel on my Supra...

£150.00 each month for 27 months = £5,555 for ONLY 2 years of ownership!! :shock: :faint: :(

Im guessing though, my fuel figure won't be the worst though lol...:D

Thats pretty good! My Supe goes through a ful tank in two weeks! So it gets pretty pricy each month lol...:(

Fortunetly for me, my new job which i start 2 weeks Monday, has total of 14 miles per day instead of the 32 miles which i currently do!
So, that will help and save fuel! :D

Ive owned two uk mkiv's which adds up to over 11yrs

Ive worked mine out using a mid price of £3.50 per gallon as back in early 94 petrol was around £2 per gallon and it was around £5 per gallon in early 08

On topic, I've done 15k miles in 18 months in the Supra (and it's only a weekend toy :blink:), which I reckon works out to be about £3.5k on fuel at £1.00/litre and assuming 20mpg average.

In a vain attempt to get back on topic. :pOn topic, I've done 15k miles in 18 months in the Supra (and it's only a weekend toy :blink:), which I reckon works out to be about £3.5k on fuel at £1.00/litre and assuming 20mpg average.
Working it out by the mileage I've done and using an average of £1 a litre, I've spent £6250. :(

No because if my calculations are right;

£6.4 a day equals a total of 32 miles that i do a week...

So £6.4 divided by 16 miles which i do per day equals 0.40 p equates to pence per mile...



EDIT: You indeed are right ewen, i was working it out on a single trip of 16 miles not 32 miles....

Good stuff. I remember you had a thread going a while back regarding getting it up north. I didn't comment at the time, but the idea of driving it there struck me first ;) :d

The car park for my building was extended this week so my supe is now parked up right outside my window where I can look at it everyday too :cool:
