DaveR Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Hey all. The other day I noticed that my passenger-side headlight was full of condensation. I'd taken the complete unit off about a week before to fit my facelift indicators but I'm sure I didn't disturb any seals, etc. I took the headlight off again and found that a whole load of water gushed out of a rubber hose on the rear of the unit. The condensation was still there, but there was visibly less moisture. I left the unit off for a bit with all the bulbs removed to try to let it dry out, but it didn't help very much. Since then, after refitting the light and driving around for a few days, the condensation has cleared up on its own. I noticed at Japfest that a couple of Supras on the club stand had condensation inside the lights (this was before mine had developed the problem), so was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to stop it happening again? It looks horrible (like my car's not looked after or something) and I'm guessing water and lights probably shouldn't mix... Any advice appreciated. Cheers!
