hey guys my missus on here has a BPU N/A import, it came with the original toyota key and factory fitted alarm. Does anybody what alarm the supra actually came with as the insurance company wants to know !! :think:

dont come with any mate- its all optional

yes..

bpu= basic performance upgrade so exhaust plugs leads etc etc can be classed as bpu for any car

So what are the Mods on a N/A called if TT mods are classed as BPU? :search: Never really wondered until now. :)

I was advised this by Michael when I had issues with my UK spec.

It's called a "Toyota 5000" but is actually a Scorpion 5000 cat 1. Remember that was on my UK spec. Dunno what the optional extra factory alarm was on J-Specs.

i think mine is a factory job , it has sikura or sakura on the fob , plus the key operates it as well, had a few issues with it a week or so ago as it went quiet , probably the siren , but ok now .
as for what cat it is no idea , always told the insurance it was a factory fit which they seemed happy with
