Tom
Just wanted to see what people thought of this, it's my manual mk3 figures are RWHP VIDEO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmFQDKNrY2Q&feature=user
Homer
If that AFR reading is correct it's running incredibly rich (and losing a lot of power). Surely the readings can't be correct, especially at the lower rpm/boost?
Tom
it was the first thing they said about being rich, I *think* most of these mk3's with this engine do run fairly rich from factory, I'm hoping that there is some potential there with a bit more boost? Homer
If it's that rich you have a huge potential for more power if you get the car mapped for it's current boost. I don't know anything about those engines but from the pics you posted it looked like it was MAF based. If the ECU is mapped for more boost then it might not make much difference, but it could be a good time to go aftermarket and release all that potential power. Tom
Interesting they run 10psi stock and with the turbos having steel internals I can apparently run 15psi quite safely, I thought my car was decatted but it has it's original cat in place, the only mods are the filter and catback exhaust I'd like to break 200rwhp

Tom
what would be the ideal AFR I'd be looking for Darryl? or anyone? and if it was leaned out any guestimates on the potential power increase at all?
