Hi All,

I've just got a 1998 Aristo Vertex, but I'm having problems with the boost.

It appears that boost is there as the guage goes to 1 bar, but nothing happens, it used to but suddenly after not driving it for a couple of days, and having the battery disconnected i'm getting nothing.

The car has been modded with a HKS F-CON SZ and also has a HKS EVC V boost controller fitted.

I've checked for loose hoses etc, but they are all connected properly.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the welcome Vicky

Well the car today has gone to Alex at Rising Sun racing near Chatteris, so I will have to wait till tomorrow to find out what's wrong with it!

Annoying as I've only had the car 2 weeks, and not had much time to really play with it!

Hi all!

I've alread joined ClubAristo, but thanks for the link!

Just had a call from Alex at Rising Sun Raching, some good news!

He's found the problem and it apears that a clip joining the waste gate to the actulator has broken! He's fitting a new one when it arrived either tonight or in the morning.

One thing he's not sure about is how the car has been set to switch over the turbos, currently both solonoids are disconnected and aparantly they shouldn't be!

But the real good news is that both of the turbos are OK ---- so far!
