The meeting place is a pub called the Bolney Stage and Oakroom Restaurant and its at London Rd, Bolney, West Sussex, RH17 5RL.

Bolney is just off the A23, if coming round the M25 go to Junction 7 and turn on to the m23 towards Brighton, then when the M23 finishes follow the A23 towards Brighton and look for signs for Bolney. The pub is easy to find as its on the road in to Bolney.

The event starts at about 11.30am, and the usual disclaimer applies, you are responsible for your own actions at all times, expect a police presence and if you misbehave then you only have yourself to blame when you get fuzzed!!

SATURDAY 24th APRIL.

As with previous years, we will have exclusive use of the pub. The meet will start from 11.30am, NO SOONER. Also, please drive sensibly on the day - the police WILL be notified of the event and WILL drive through to check up on us. If everyones as sensible as they've been the past couple of years, we'll have no issues.

I am currently trying to arrange for Jap Performance Mag to attend - so that they can do a feature.

I also have something else in the pipeline .... details of which i'll post up soon.

As you may have seen in another thread, the carpark will be unavailable to most of us this year, because we are asking each Owners Club to vote for their favourite CUSTOMER OWNED car. Hopefully we'll get top examples from each Owners Club ... which everyone can see in the car park. This means everyone else will need to park on the road or the grass verges (you all should know what it's about by now ).

As we're doing this "executive" area for the most voted for cars, i will need a representative from each Owners Club to run the polls for me. The winning car on each poll MUST be contactable by email - and i'll need the email address. I will then be in discussion with the owner of each car voted into the carpark so that we can arrange things. If the voted for cars cannot make it, backup cars must be available to step in. The representative from each club will also need to keep me updated as to how many cars to expect from their club ... as i'll be running a spreadsheet to gauge the size of the meet - so i can keep the landlord updated on numbers, etc (as well as Jap Performance Mag).

Food will be along the same lines as last year ... with discount prices.

I hope to see as many of you there as possible ... let's try and get as many cars there as we can (and beat the 500+ from previous years).

I'd like to point out that traders are more than welcome to bring their cars along (we'd love to see them), they just won't be able to park in the carpark.

ok from anywhere north of M25 it is down the M23 a bit, from bournemouth and southampton simply take A3 or A4 not sure which one and it gets u all way there (bad news speed cameras on route!!!). Im not 100% sure where it is but i been there for work. It called Bolney village near crawley, near gatwick. hows that :D

Then once I have the nominations I will put it in to a poll with a link to a picture of each car and then everybody can vote for the one they want to see in as our best.

For a meet further north go to my thread on Summer Meet - I've suggested going to a Tractor Pulling event in Lancashire - engines with 7000 bhp - some have 4 jet engines in them!!!! Could do convoy up the M6 :flame Dev :flame Dev :flame Dev

Reference the Bolney Meet on the 24th April. Is it a family friendly zone or is it a case of leave the missus and kids at home. To keep her sweet i thought it would be a good idaea to include her as she does tolerate my excessive spending on the Soop. The kids might enjoy aswell but I was unsure if kids could go and it was safe to do so.

On a separate note, I live in Northampton, is anyone meeting up on the way so we can get a bit of a convoy going down I have never been before but I take it, it is the Bolney near Crawley. My route will be M1, M25, M23, does anyone fancy meeting up on the way or maybe we could arrange a mass meet up before we head down

Usmann, if its a non jap car it may be best to park it down the road a bit. Its basically over a mile of road which has almost no traffic on it so you can park down the bottom or top end of the road and it will be perfectly safe.

The pub is quite a posh one, but they do normal food for the event. The road outside the pub is hardly ever busy and everybody is asked to behave when going up and down there. Theres also lots of seats inside and a bit of a beer garden outside so it is family friendly.

Your best bet is to join in with the convoy from South Mimms services. The plan is to meet there for about 9.45am and leave between 10am and 10.30am (departure time still not set properly). South Mimms is at the junction of the A1 and M25 near Potters Bar.

Thanks for the info, i will have to see if the missus and the kids fancy a day out. With regards to meeting at South Mimms, when we leave there are we going up or down the junctions to get to the M23.

The reason why I ask is that I am unsure if I can gain access to the other side of the m25 when I turn into South Mimms. I will be coming from junction 21 of the M25 and I believe South Mimms is Junc 23.

Depending on the route we are taking or if I can gain access to the other side of the M25 from Soth Mimms, it wont be a problem. Otherwise I may have to go upto Junction 24 and turn around.

I hope you get the jist of what I am trying to say.

J23 of the M25 is the south mimms junction and its basically a massive roundabout so coming from any direction you can get in to the services.

We normally meet in the little layby on the side of the short stretch of dual carriageway approaching M25 J11, Chertsey (the RX7 guys meet there too). I'll probably be heading that way, and swinging into Pease Pottage services to meet some other guys on the way down, if anyone fancies a convoy from that direction?

My geography is rubbish, but I'm sure we go anti-clockwise from Chertsey? We get on at J11, off 4 junctions later at J7, and then off down the M23!

The other way would cost the national debt of a small country in petrol ..... Plus, the less time spent on the M25 the better :p

The first post said it starts no sooner than 11:30, so we should leave Clackets Lane at or soon after 11am.

Dartford to Clackets Lane is 25 mins tops unless the traffic's really bad in which case we're stuffed anyway so maybe;

10:00 meet at Dartford
10:15 set off to arrive at Clackets Lane around 10:40
11:00 leave Clackets Lane
11:25-11:30 arrive at Bolney

As most of you will know, it's Bolney 2004 next weekend (Saturday 24th April).

This is a "show n Shine" type event ... as there is no-where to show what your car is capable of. So it's simply a case of turn-up, park-up and swtich off. We're expecting a lot of cars this year ... as Bolney has become quite well known these days. The previous 2 years has seen over 500 cars in attendance.

We have something different this year .... with cars voted for by each owners club parked in the main carpark. This is basically the first time we've tried a "show area". We should have around 30 cars on display ... with a LOT of variety. I am pleased to say we have an NSX confirmed this year ... which is a first.

We also have our first "trade stand" - as Japanese Performance magazine will have a stand at the meet ... and will be selling their magazine. They are also doing a feature on the day.

Additionally, Steve Brooks (producer of the "Skylines & Skyscrapers" DVD) is coming down to video some of the meet ... with a view to putting some footage on a future DVD.

The pub generally do a special menu for us - basically easy pub food - chips, steaks, etc. They normally do us special prices as well ... i've eaten there in the past and the food is delicious.

Start time for the meet is 11.30am - no sooner. We need time to get the carpark cars sorted, get the Jap Performance Mag stand up, and ensure Steve (and co) are all sorted. It does get very busy very quickly ... so please watch your speeds ... and try not to get frustrated by the parking ... it may take you a few moments to get parked up .... but there is LOADS of space so you'll get sorted eventually. As mentioned the carpark is reserved, so please do not try and park in there ... as it'll ruin the "display area".

There is no official end time for the meet ... it just ends when it ends. It's normally still going at 4pm ... so there's plenty of time to see all the cars in attendance.

If you are unsure where you are going - Bolney is just off the A23. To help work out your route, try using multimap.com or the rac route planner and look for a destination post code of RH17 5RL.

I look forward to seeing plenty of you there next weekend .... the meet WILL go ahead regardless of the weather. If it's wet, just bring an umbrella

Didnt have chance to say hi to anyone today, to be honest was in bit of bad mood after going to 1 place for tyres only place in bournemouth to have my size!!! havin 2 wait a hour! then goin 2 another place to have them lines and had to wait a hour and half!

i was not amused

I think it was supraguy i saw with rosie in the car doing a couple of little blips........fast........no more comments :D

Well ... Certainly the best Bolney turnout I've ever seen + great weather (shame about the odd t**t here and there screaming down the road while there were people walking about with kids etc :eek: ) !!

Great meet, great weather, great cars. Convoy from Clacketts was good once we got off the ridiculously crowded M25 onto the M23. Nice mix of Supes, Skylines and the odd Impreza and RX7 mixing it up and showing off. Was a 300ZX shooting flames out both exhausts in front of us. Had the usual "Bolney Village" sign appear while half the convoy was in the 2nd and 3rd lanes. Some spectacularly dangerous dives for the slip road, including one silver aerotop (I think) cutting from 3rd lane to slip road across a couple of cars' noses and the hatched area with about 6 feet to spare, kicking up loads of dust. :eek: :D Anyone care to own up?! :innocent: Anyone get any pics / footage of the convoy?

My 4th Bolney and the best so far.
