mikeyb10supra
personally I like greddy gauges as they match the stock speado and rev limiter backlight colours
Nicolai
Defi's are very nice, but very pricey to. With "mechanical" ones you have a lot of choice! HKS APEXI etc are all nice!
Nic
Anyone recommend a boost gauge they've got or know of? There are pics HERE of the most popular Japanese branded gauges. If I can help with prices just let me know. You have a few choices to make when choosing a boost gauge. 1. Size - Gauges are most commonly available in either 52mm or 60mm diameter. The standard clock on the dash can be removed and replaced with a 52mm gauge, a 60mm gauge can be fitted inside the airvent. Other option is to fit in a gauge pod. 2. Standalone or link system - gauges can be either standalone or are part of a link system with a central control box, (these needs to be bought separately). The link system is good if fitting multiple gauges as each gauge can be linked in series which is a lot easier when installing. If you are just fitting a single boost gauge, then it would be cheaper to go for a standalone gauge. 3. Mechanical or electronic - boost gauges can be either mechanical ie. have a vacuum pipe going from the engine bay to the gauge, or electronic ie. there is a pressure sensor in the engine bay, that sends an electronic signal to the gauge. Electronic gauges are more expensive, but usually include features such as Peak Hold, Warning, Playback, etc. Edited May 30, 2008 by Nic (see edit history)
