Luka-P
hey up guys, did my bumper last week and have noticed the lacquer hasnt hardened very well. you can indent it with your nail but then smooth it out by rubbing over it with your finger. i used 2 pack lacquer and hardener at 2:1. any ideas? Tricky-Ricky
Hmm, normally i would say wrong mix, i presume both lacquer and hardener where same make, i have know it to do that using different makes, have you tried leaving it in the sun to bake. Luka-P
yea they were both the same make and a good mixture. its been on the car now for about two weeks all sorts of conditions. ive had the 2000 grit wet on it with g3 and polishing pad but still no luck. might have to try again
Whitesupraboy2
isnt it make to take 6 weeks to harden / cure, I remember mine being quite soft for 3 weeks and then one day I checked it and it was just hard.

miko_supra
i usually find that the laquer is fine to work with after 24 hours in good weather or 3 days in poor weather
Luka-P
it seems ok but you can indent it with your fingernail so its not exactly 100% cured
