Certainly wasnt.....found it quite strange when the Govt Minister is happy to admit to quote him "rub shoulders with the devil to meet their overall objectives....." hence funding the toss pots and giving them british passports allowing them to enjoy a life in the UK.

How can we fund such atrocities in the name of so called democracy? seems like we are a bunch of self righteous bastids that only want to cause trouble.

History is littered with the government involved with supposed evil men. Bin Laden, saddam hussain etc etc.
Sometiumes its a case of better the devil you know !

Well its not just us, but most of the west who are supporting that government, however the report did mainly highlight Britain everytime government support was mentioned.

At the end of the day its the choice of 2 evils.. the West dont want an unstable country like Somalia becoming another terrorists playground, breeding fighters to then come here and blow us up (thats the theory at least).. so they'd rather have the bloodshed in Somalia...

As usual the innocent suffer and the battles continue regardless.

Despite the topic on discussion I couldnt watch after seeing the dead guy with his intestines hanging out. Whatever the political agenda the people there are literally going through hell

Well its unstable now as its in civil war. They said the country had some stability under Islamic control but also point out they were habouring Al Queda.. hence the objection to the Islamic government.
