On my Internet Explorer in the reply box there's this icon http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh29/codet68/spelling.gif that'll check your spelling.

If worst comes to worst, open www.google.com and enter the word as you think it should be spelt. You'll either find it's correct or have the correct alternative suggested to you.

I think you guys might be missing DJB's point; he's not saying he needs a spell checker.
