I am after a bit of user feedback if i may!

i am about to run out of contract with orange so they are offering me the usual upgrade on my phone. The question is this........ What one do i go for?

I am not overly fussed about getting internet on it and the other high tech stuff, i just want a phone that i can make calls, send texts and take some good pics with. I have always had Nokia's i get on with them, however got jen a purple samsung G600 the other day and found it quite easy to use.

I have narrowed it down to what i think are 3 resonable phones which i like the look of and do what i need.

They are....... Nokia N95 8gb, Nokia 6500 Slide or the samsung G800

What are other peoples thoughts on these? have you got them, have you had problems with them and so on.

Thanks in advance for any help

The 6500 slide is sh1t, I got one in December had in in for repair numerous times with the same problem. After 2 replacement handsets I ended up telling O2 to stick it.

Arrives tomorrow, will let you know :) Jake etc liked their ones. I wanted the N96 but it's not out unti August and most likely will be flawed when it comes out (like the N95 was).

Well, the N95 8gb wees on those other two from a great height in terms of features and spec and for that reason it would be (and is) my choice. But seeing as your post suggests you're not especially interested in all of these, the G800 looks nice and will probably tick your boxes.

I've now went with the 6500 classic, far superior plus it's thin and light so you hardly notice it in your' pocket. I have the N95 1gb but find it too large and bulky.

Yeh i like the look of the G800, never had a samsung before but quite liked how jens worked, the N95 is nice and i suppose having the features is a good thing to have should i ever need them just dont want the phone to be overly complicated.

I have the n95 8g too and i love it...but as you say you want a phone to be a phone then it's probably not for you...all the gadgets can eat up the battery life pretty quick.

hope this helps....

The post i just put up "one for the boys!" the picture taken was with the N95!!
