Nic
Aw Why Not Lol...neva Knew That M8 How Much Will An Upgrade Cost Me? With the stock turbos a GReddy Emanage Ultimate piggback ECU would be a good choice, these are just over £500 for the ECU, sensors and harnesses, plus mapping cost on top. I can supply these if needed.
jaymdee
What boost you running? Decat and exhaust should allow you up to 1.2 Bar boost which is approx 380-400 bhp. After that it's new turbos and a big bill!!
JamieP
Aw Why Not Lol...neva Knew That M8 How Much Will An Upgrade Cost Me? Dont buy an ecu without finding a mapper first, i dont think there is many Emanage mappers about now.

dannysupratt
If you do a search for BPU on here that should give you around 380bhp+ which is fairly cheap and should keep a smile on your face for a while.
Duffman
BPU has been on my mind alot...I havent a problem with how much fuel my supe uses the now (it aint no diesel)...but if i start with fuel cut defenders etc...jus how much will this affect the MPG?
dannysupratt
To be honest i dont really notice the difference betwwen my old standard TT and my new bpu one, unless your gunning it everywhere. Trust me it is well worth doing its so much fun
Duffman
How much do you think it will cost me then mate...bearing in mind the mods I already have on the car?
Swampy442
Depends on what ECU you go for, from 500 to 1000's! Link and AEM are good bits of kit, I run an emanage ultimate on mine. *edit* You can get them second had as well but you still need to remap and install it
JamieP
Ryan is mapping the Emanage now. Not according to Ryan.

Duffman
What is done to the car now mate? Not a huge list of mods bud Frount Mount Intercooler Blitz Dump Valve. JamieP
He didn't use to, but is now. I only spoke to him today, he said he would only map piggy back for a close friend, not public;)

HKS Air Filter with HKS hardpipe, HKS Decat Blitz iridium Spark plugs Let me know how much you think Sounds like bpu already... I would check what boost your running (with a guage) as if your not running a restrictor ring or boost controller removing that other cat could knacker your turbos
Duffman
Think i need to get someone with experience to have a look over my car to determine exactly what i have to do to get BPU. I thot I had to have uprated fuel pump, fuel cut defender etc Anyone recommend any garages up in scotland i could go to
dannysupratt
you dont need much more really just both decats, 1.2 bar restrictor ring, an uprated fuel pump and something to manage the boost. Its just if you dont have a restrictor ring you could be running unsafe boost. Does it hit fuel cut at all. Have a word with scotster on here he is from scotland somewhere and he might be able to help you.
Scott
The Garage in Wishaw have had a bit of experience with Supra's. They did my De-Cat and have done some work on my MR2. Where abouts in Strathclyde are you buddy? Definitely the first thing on your list should be a boost gauge. You need to know exactly whats going on with your turbo's etc before putting them under more strain.
