Currently have a HKS Silent Hi Power Exhaust and wondered if it is recommended to have both cats removed or just the second? what will the difference in performance / sound be? Pabs Posted May 22, 2008 Share Posted May 22, 2008 You'll find that the standard airbox is recommended - as it performs just as well, if not better, than most aftermarket induction kits. Otherwise, it would appear the Apexi Power Induction kit is recommended due to a good filtration from the filter - the rest are pretty poor in comparison. Exactly, keep the standard airbox because otherwise you will REDUCE power. As for your Decat, get the 2nd decat only and it sounds absoulutely amazing! Especially with the Bltz nur Spec R full cat back system exhaust...because i had that on mine! If you have a full decat, the n/a sounds raspy and not very nice imho...
