cowboy bebop
Hi gents, After inspecting a set of cams that came in, I've decided to snap a few up close shots of them so you guys can see exactly what you're getting. The advertised duration is 268, the duration @ .050 is 226, and the lift is 9.14mm. top shelf quality all around.

Chris Wilson
Are they ground off new blanks with stock base circle diameter? What heat treatment have they had? Cheers.
cowboy bebop
Right, right. They're made from stock cores and the base circles are left intact so minimal if any reshimming is required assuming the cores came from the motor being used. Only the lobes are altered to give more lift and more duration. Thanks! Eric

The base circle is stock since they're made from stock cores. Currently there's no blanks for the exhaust cam. The cams are hard welded and are tough as a coffin nail, however what they do to harden the material afterwards I'll have to inquire. Suffice it to say though that the lobes are harder than the shims/buckets. Thanks! Eric
buster
what sort of money do there retail at?
cowboy bebop
Comparable to the 2jzgte cams. $225GBP per side. We need a set of cores to work with, and we can source them here locally for small core charge. Eric

cowboy bebop
I should add that not many folks from the UK can send the cores. We can source the cores here locally for a small core charge, then reimburse the charge when your cores are shipped back to us. That way it makes life a lot easier. Thanks!
