No he wont... :D
I was thinking one single 12" Kicker Solo Baric.
-Titanium deposit cone
-Non-resonant aluminum basket
-Santoprene rubber surround
-Dual 4-ohm voice coils for wiring flexibility (with a compatible amp)
-Frequency response 20-100 Hz
-Power range 75-750 watts RMS (375 watts per coil)
-Peak power handling 1,500 watts
-Sensitivity 86.6 dB SPL
-Top-mount depth 6-13/16"
-Sealed box volume 0.88-2.0 cubic feet
-Ported box volume 1.75-3.25 cubic feet

Love the sound of the kicker stuff. Good choice :)
Personally I'd go for a 10" though.... but I guess it depends what kinda bass you're after...

Nothing at all wrong with the Aliante. Damn good sub, but I was assuming you named that sub as it has a very shallow mounting depth... Which is not something that's a major necessity with the box we're building. (Slowly building, before Dude says anything!)
F*****n slow , in fact slower than a uk with hybrids fitted and driven by Midlife and thats obscenley slow !!!!!!

Im putting one of them in my Aerotop, the Ltd Ed one - right behind the passenger seat. With 1KW of amp to back it up ;)
Rear seats are useless anyway and a sub in the boot is going to make the "top" rattle like nowt else.
What do we think?
Gaz.
I think you wont have a rear seat anymore Gaz !!!!!!
