no i have a 3200 stall and it starts to pull away about 2200 - 2300 rpm its only when you floor it it lets the revs go all the way up to the stall, if you have any kind of performance aspirations (or a single turbo) with an auto, a hi-stall is a must they totally transform the car, i would say if you have a stock or bpu TT this 3800 would be a tad high it would be more suited to single
would be interested in a deal without the coolers as i have 3 of them already fitted ;)

I'm trying to sell something here:banghead:
Whats the standard stall?
Also, would this be useful at all for a BPU Supra?
Would work well with a BPU supra.
Would it affect the way the vehicle shifts in normal day to day driving though?
Read somewhere that shifts could become harsher?
not really, people seem to think it will only move once it gets to the shall rate but they are similar to stock, have a search ask a few member son here with high stalls paul mac, i remember CJ had one on his old car so did Gamer etc, they will tell you how it will feel.
Ideally you will need an additional transmission cooler to go with it but this in included with this sale.
bump with reduced price £280
Do a search for my comments on driving a Supra with a 3,800 stall TC. It's different, but really not a problem. The car still starts moving as soon as you touch the throttle...
I would recommend at least 2x coolers and a lock up switch for motorway driving though.
Cheers,
Brian.
