I had an mr2 n/a and noticed a few on here who had mr2's previous. It was a great car and thought i owed it to Toyota to buy another one of their cars after over 4 years of faultless fun drving and i have not been dissapointed in anyway. mr2 --- supra seemed like a natural evolution. Mk2 Fiesta 1.1 with Capri sports rims - had a serious oil leak! Mk4 Escort 1.6 GL - good motor this one Rover 620 SDi - carribean blue, a very smooth ride Escort 1.8 TD - workhorse And after all these high powered beasts, I've now settled down for something a bit more tame .......... MR2 feels much faster than the sup although its probably only true till around 60. Doesn't seem to be any lag at all in the MR2, the Supra feels a bit bargey in comparison but makes up for it and then some in other ways.
