Guest mattsupra
i got an n/a auto and its got a hks air filter kit and a full blitz nur specR system and twin de-cat pipe im not sure on any other mods except plugs if i remember rightly so what sort of bhp would you think im running? it does shift when needs must but ive been told that twin de-cat might be the reason of the sluggish feeling sometimes like its not got as much power as it should have ? plus how the hell does that manual switch work the gearbox? i.e. how do you use it like a manual box? ty matt

Tricky-Ricky
N/A engines need a little back pressure, (in simple terms, before the tech pedants get on the case:p) so replacing the cats and a big free flow exhaust will reduce back pressure, so in some cases reducing power and in particular torque. Tricky-Ricky
*cough*myth*cough* You didn't read the disclaimer:p (in simple terms, before the tech pedants get on the case) but it still equates to needing tuned length V dia for correct reversion. Max Headroom
I had a rebuilt engine, standard airbox, 2nd decat and RSR and got 220bhp. Remember these cars are 14 years old and the factory stated was "220bhp", you are more likely to be seeing 190-200bhp.
