flyby
Hi Some has told me that it is possible to make a TT Auto box stronger. So 6-700hp is no problem? True? And where/how ?
Axle
Would be interesting to know the answer to this actually.
Lukeyboy2k
I think this involves sending part of the auto box to the states to strengthen the core. http://www.boostlogic.com/xcart/product.php?productid=20&cat=8&page=
jamesmark
Even then they can still break, iirc Gamers car had a BL and it still broke. (could be wrong)
rob wild
Would be interesting to know the answer to this actually. They change all the internals that need changing i.e. pump etc etc, they up line pressure, fit a new BILLET AL6061 Forward Clutch Piston and pair it with an uprated TC i.e. a PI3200 stall. The result is that it can handle more power i.e. my old stock box was starting to struggle at 1.4bar where as the BL one shifts faster and harder between gears. Also my box is controlled by my AEM so the timing can be retarded between changes to allow less stress on the box at full WOT changes especially between 1st and 2nd. I really like the way its been mapped as well as it changes down to allow you to be in the right gear. Even then they can still break, iirc Gamers car had a BL and it still broke. (could be wrong) I've broken a BL one
Robbie
I had a BL one and probably did more drag runs than most as well as thousands of miles on it no probs! Have a look on the boostlogic website
