how loud are the Apexi Power intakes!!!!

I installed the APEXi Power Intake kit today. and I got a shock because its Bloody loud as..lol, I new it was
going to be louder than stock but not as loud as it is..lol I can feel the difference between the stock and the Apexi Intake as there is a difference in pulling power. great little upgrade!!!

I have a power enterprise one on mine and they are noisy. I don't think it's the noise of the filter really, it's more the noise of the open induction. The turbo's whistle loudly.

I would be surprised if you had got a gain out of it though, the general feeling is that the heat soaked up, through not having the stock airbox setup,may sap a bit of power.
