spraying plastic

my stepson wants me to mesh his saxo grill and spray the plastic black , but whats best to get all the polish/wax off first cheers j

White spirit should get the polish & wax off.. Then use a scotch pad to rub down the plastic. This will key it and give something for the paint to stick to. Get some really fine wet/dry paper (1500s) and give it a light rub between coats. Take your time & you should end up with a nice finish! ;)
