Wideband exhaust bung welding

Best place to mount it is in the 2nd decat pipe.

I constantly tell people that wideband sensors need to be at least 35 inches away from the turbo so that the EGT's do not affect the readings. Its suprising how many people have the sensor right next to the turbo exit. I first saw this was done on all the TF cars and others seemed to have followed suit.

Also make sure that the sensor is not mounted in the bottom of the pipe so that the moisture does not get to the sensor as this is what kill lamdba sensor as well as leaded fuel.

Thanks guys!

You're right Ryan, I would always go with what the instructions say. For a turbocharged car the AEM manual states, that the sensor must be placed 36" downstream of the turbo/s. It also says that the sensor must be angled up at 10 degrees ideally.
