Got the car back at the weekend at last.[GRIN][/GRIN]

It has been away since November with mechanics, painters, interior retrimmers and painter again. Finally back, washed and photos taken. The final bit will be a full interior and exterior detail to really make it shine ( but this can wait for a few weeks while I get to know her again).

A big thanks to Dusty at MVP, Supra Specialists Ireland, Top Secret Evolution and painter Darren.

Anyway, here are a few pictures of the car. They don`t really do it justice as it is hard to see the sparkle in the paint in the pictures. In real life when the sun hits it there is a dazzling blue/purple sparkle.

That is very nice indeed, congrats

Spec list to die for too  Have you had it on a dyno yet? Thats got to be near 600bhp at the flywheel.

It is only running 0.7 bar for the first 1000 miles to break in the new parts. Then a full oil change and boost turned up to 1.2.

It is my daily driver so I was not really interested in big top end power.

What pushed me towards this setup was the fast spool. Even now it drives brilliantly around town. More like a big V8 than a turbo. Loads of torque from about 3000 revs.:D

The cast setup seems to be the ulitmate way to go for low down torque. Just wait until you crank up that boost, the torque/spool difference between 0.7 and 1.4 is beyond belief ;) :D

Looks stunning:) Just one thing. IMO would look even better with clear side repeaters. Also did you put in the car pc? if so how much and where did you purchase it from?

I bought the car pc from a website in Germany. About £1100 for the top of the range specs. It is a great bit of kit. Just slots straight into the double din slot and only needs an adaptor to connect to the existing wiring.

It comes with the front end software, gps mouse, remote control and more. Bootup is about 20 seconds.

can you tell me how good the brakes are please

The brakes are awesome. Very well balanced especially with the rear kit on as well.

Havn`t had to stop from big speed yet but I would have complete confidence in them doing the job.

Expensive kit but you get what you pay for!

I wanted to go for the best in all the parts I put on the car. Just had to save up a bit longer. The weak dollar at the end of last year was a nice bonus.

*girly comment* but I really love the colour :)

It is even nicer than the pictures show. The camera cant pick up the full effect of the sparkle coats.

The base colour is Nightmare blue which is a bit like the blue on the newer Beemers. Then there are 4 coats of Hotrod Sparkle purple with a bit of blue sparkle added to stop it overpowering the blue (we had to do 6 different samples to get it right. Sometimes too much purple killed the blue, not enough and it didnt sparkle enough).

The end result is a car that looks blue in normal daylight but as soon as the sun or streetlighting hits it there is a dazzling purple sparkle which changes intensity on different parts of the car dependant on the angle the light hits it.
