Hi Guy's is the for sale section and wanted section going to be split up again after the upgrade is finished? As its a bit annoying at the moment when you have to keep looking if its for sale or wanted.

Thanks Matt

There are no plans to at the moment, but the decision will be reviewed in a couple of weeks once people have had a chance to get used to it. If the general consensus is to put it back then I will.

Aye I agree it is quite confusing as you have to constantly check the threads prefix to determine if it’s a want or sale. bring back the old system :)

I'm a "new posts" button chap so don't tend to navigate via the sections but what's changed? It doesn't look too scary at present.

I can understand if you use the new posts button you wouldn't notice the difference.

I browse by section as there are quite a few sections of the forum that I never read (National Events, Was it You?, The Spirited Driving Chronicles, Club Merchandise, Supra Classifieds, Other Items). One of the old sections I also never browsed was Parts for Sale I only ever browsed Parts Wanted for the chance to pimp my wares.

With the new format I need to hunt through the title prefix's to find the wanted adds. This may seem quite easy to do, but for me it is a real PITA. I get a huge amount of correspondence per day to deal with, I use to be able to quickly scan the Wanted Section every now and then when I got the chance, now I have to go through more than twice as many posts and work out which are the relevant ones.

IIRC It's back to how it was a few years ago, everything in 1 section (with the exception of cars themselves and other items), think it used to be just 1 big for sale section and people were quite happy when it was divided to "for sale" and "wanted" (especially Nic :D)

Yeah I prefer it the old way too, traders, for sale and wanted was good, if its not broke dont fix it:)

I have to agree with the general consensus of opinion, seperate sections are quicker to navigate.......

.......particularly when Im on at work and shouldnt be :sly::d

Seems a bit messy in its newer format, just my 2p worth ;)

Sorry the new format sucks!

One valid reason is, for example I raised a 'For Sale' item thread yesterday and now within 24hrs it's been kicked back to the 3rd page already!

So whats going to happen now is people will be constantly 'Bumping' their threads up all the time to get some coverage.. (either Wanted or For Sale)

Personally find it's too much in one area.
These are sections that rely on maximum coverage/viewing, again either it be 'Wanting or Selling'.
