Unfortunately going single is going to cost alot more than you think. As it's already been said, it's not just as simple as swapping the turbo over. I'd agree the GT35R is probably the most responsive option, mine makes around 400hp by 4K rpm, which when you compare dyno graphs is quite a lot more than any other similar sizes turbos. What is the current spec of your car as that will effect on what you need and how much the install will cost? ps. I'd go with the Power Enterprise injectors, cheaper and better quality. Nic Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 This is a rough list off the top of my head of what I'd fit for a basic small single install. There are probably some things I've missed out. Mechanical Turbo kit - check what is actually included in the kit Exhaust Gaskets and fittings - some kits don't include everything needed. Oil and water lines and fittings - check if these are included in the kit of not. Clutch - if manual Cams - not essential, but will get the best out of the single. BOV, plus boss and welding to IC pipe. Fueling Injectors - drop in stock rail Fuel pump Fuel pressure regulator and fuel lines OEM Fuel filter Electronics Gauges - AFR, boost, EGT, fuel pressure Boost controller ECU, various sensors, harnesses + mapping RLTC - not essential, but I would definitely fit. Cooling Good quality intercooler, either SMIC or FMIC - IC pipe between turbo and IC may need fabricating. Radiator - may not be necessary, but I'd budget for one just in case. Transmission cooler - if auto. Oil cooler Others Plugs - budget for 2 sets as mapping can foul plugs. Oil & filter Coolant Exhaust wrap, heat resistant material Turbo blanket Miscellaneous fabricating and welding, some of the US kits are only designed to fit LHD Supras, so there may be some modification required to fit RHD Supra.
