Hi All
I need to remove the passenger seat from a jspec NA. I take it the seat has to be removed from the sliding rails but cant see any screws or bolts.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Jas
There are 4 bolts under plastic covers, just use a screwdriver to remove covers and then unbolt:)

Rails come out with seat. There might be a plug plugged into the seat that you need to disconnect. Think it's a seatbelt indicator plug or something.
Like Markymark says, it's just four (or is it eight?) 8mm-ish bolts under the plastic covers, which pull off. Easy.
there are 6 bolts holding the seat down:p

Sorry Guys
Must be going blind / stupid. I cannot see any plastic covers on the runner rail. I've seen the connector / wires but cannot see how the seat comes out.
Should I be looking somewhere else?
Does anyone have any pictures?
It's very simple, there are two stages:
1. Remove the lower seats. You need to the front of the seat up very firmly to pull it clear of the plastic hooks (see pic). It's then just a case of sliding the seatbelt harnesses out and pulling the seat free (need to lift the front up and slide the rear hooks out)
2. Remove the seat back. With the seat back moved down you can access the two rear bolts (one on each side). Flip the seatback upright again and remove the front two bolts which are now accesible. The seatback will lift out. Sorry, no pic of this.

Homer, you are talking about the rear seats, and I think everyone else is talking about the passenger seat in the front....?
The runners are bolted to the floor. At the end of the runners, there are plastic caps/lids (these are usually grey due to age) and these unclip with the use of a flat-bladed screwdrvier. Underneath them are bolts which secure the runners to the floor.
Remove all of these and the seats will come out of the car, with the rails still attached to the bottom of the seats.
