Pre-Facelift to Facelift lights question

Ok i have a set of pre-facelift lights sitting here for some experimentation. I was going to facelift them by masking a bit of chrome and painting them black. I was then going to refurb the lenses and sell them on. All i was really after was the practice. Anyway, now i'm thinking if i'm going to all this trouble i might as well use them on my car and spruce up my facelifts for a rainy day instead.

So onto my question..... eventually..... if i want to use the pre-facelifts on my car do i need to block up the sidelight hole? Do you think i would be as well buying the connector and hooking them up to the sidelights too? I think it might be a bit much myself because i am fitting angel eyes so personally i think thats plenty. Will leaving the hole there cause them to mist up?

Hi bud

The angel eyes are not that dark from far u nee to be close but they look good, i didnt do them myself i got a refurb on my current Face lift lights done, and had a one and of switch put on in the dash so i can choose when to use them and when not to instead of having them wired to my side lights.

I am not sure what work is involved but took a while to get back
