Was black interior carpet rare?

So guess it was just an option, most of em definately have grey floor interior and carpets.

 

 

No, it was an option in pre-facelifts. Facelifts came standard with it. Not sure if it was model dependant though.

 

If you do a search on the differences of models etc on here you will see the options and std equipment accross the range.

Doesn't it depend on the paint colour? I thought white and black Supras came with black carpet as standard, no?

 

Can't be sure but i don't think thats the way it worked. I've seen pre-facelift black cars with cream. Can't comment on white as i don't recall any but Black is a definite.

 

I asked a while ago about the black carpets and i was told they were stock on facelifts. I can't remember if they said RZ only though along with the seats etc.

I think Jake is partially correct.

 

On the pre facelifts, the black carpets seem to be extremely rare. Regardless of body colour all came with grey carpets, except a very small amount which had black (must have been an option?)

 

AFAIK the only UK's to come with black carpet were those with white paintwork.

 

Black carpets on the facelifts seems to be the norm.
