Axle
Whats your fave? Please post pics I quite like the TRD one. Although im not really one for modding the body, as i think the orginal looks great, the bonnet is one are i might consider because of better cooling/style. Also, is there actually a genuine weight reduction with these carbon fiber bonnets?
Scott
Pretty sure the stock bonnet is alloy so quite light anyway but a fiberglass or carbon one will always be a bit lighter. I have the TRD one on my car, well i think its a replica, and i love it. The mesh on mine has been left silver but looks grubby so i'm getting it painted black. I would always either go with bodycolour or black for the mesh.
jevansio
I like the TRD bonnet, I also love the UK bonnet. The other aftermarket bonnets seem hit & miss (depends on how well the car they're on can carry them off)
Daston
I like mine Border Racing GT II Uses all the stock catches so no lift even at silly speeds, light weight and one of the only companys to round top layer over the bottom layer (so I have been told lol) Also it is functional as it has scoops underneath that direct air out of the vents
Pabs
I think the only bonnet I would consider is a UK bonnet, as the scoop just adds that little something extra....
stupra
My choice would be the Veilside bonnet, Gaz1 has on his soop. Great looking bonnet.
Axle
This Stout one is quite nice i reckon. Not OTT imo. http://www.t04r.com/media/jon_pratkanis16.jpg May have looked better if that vent on the left was in the centre.

Axle
Does the extra 'cooling' vents of these bonnets really make any difference at all though?...

Ian W
http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=140848&highlight=bonnet+vent But what if he's actually referring to the scoops in the Stout, Do-Luck, Chargespeed, Top Secret etc bonnets? Axle
Just playing devil's advocate mate. Think that's what his question was.... Indeed it was, and funnily enough i do have a wind tunnel. So if people would like to donate their bonnets i would be happy to eventually get back to you all with the results.
