Just a quick ask to see if anyone can recommend where to park as i have to go there on thursday.

I will be at stamford bridge all day and dont know if i should park outside of london a bit & get a tube or whether it is easy enough to park close to the ground for the day?

I have had a look on the net but would just like to know off people that know the area as i rarely go to london.

Thanks :)

Parking isn't cheap. It is just outside the congestion charging zone. I can recommend a place to park ,but it's about a 10-15min walk to the tube and then 2 stops to Fulham Broadway and then about a 5 min walk to Stamford Bridge.

there is a car park opposite the town hall right in the centre. Do not expect it to be cheap!

Hey bash, I live in london. Hogmaw is right, expect to spend quite a few pennys for parking if you intend to park centrally, chelsea and westminster parking machines can be expensive! If you do decide to though dont worry abt where, there are lots of parking bays around the side streets at stamford bridge :)

Probably no-where now, as all of their fans will come down to visit, as they're happy Liverpool scored for them...

Is the place your recommending free or just much cheaper than Chelsea itself? Definitely interested either way. :)

Not free. Thinks it's about £8-£12 for the day, I can check.

Edit cancel that that's contract rates, you'd be looking at about £22-25/day sorry.

I work out of our Chelsea office once a week, I park in a car park just off the King's Road. It is £2 an hour, but is gated, underground and is normally pretty empty! There are always some pretty tasty motors parked there:)
