you could run some filler into the crack if you open it up a little, then rub it down and respray. im sure after a few layers of primer it would be tough to tell. id open up the split first so you have something to bond to though. just an idea, im no expert

Grind out a small amount of material about an inch either side of the crack on the REAR face of the spat .

Drill a small hole either at each end of the crack ( as previously suggested )

Sand the front face of the crack until it becomes slightly dished

Cut some fibreglass matting to cover the ground area on the rear of the spat .

Apply the resin to the ground area at the rear of the spat then apply the fibreglass matting on top ...apply more resin to the fibreglass matting and work it in with a paintbrush.

When the resin has cured apply polyester stopper ( topstop gold )to the front face of the crack and sand to the required shape .

wtf fill a crack with filler? when it goes on the car and on the road itll show up again, filler is used to bridge over a stong surface, eg, fibreglass:)
