markus99
pulled out my dials this morning to put new faces on them, fitted them back on there, and nought happening, do i need to reset the ecu or anything like that? all of the dials are completely dead tho the car still starts ok
Pabs
when you took them out did you disconnect the battery beforehand? I know if you don't you'll throw a airbag warning light.... Did you take the needles off the dials?
CarlT67
I would firstly double check that they are all connected correctly, could have pulled out when you where reassembling the dash . Try pulling them back out and turning the car over to see if they work then. If not maybe a fuse..?
markus99
didn't disconnect the battery no, car doesn't have airbags anyway!!! lol
Pabs
didn't disconnect the battery no, car doesn't have airbags anyway!!! lol hmmm. I always remove the battery in case of blowing a fuse, or shorting something out. As mentioned above - perhaps checking it's all connected properly, and make sure you've not missed a connection somewhere?
