I don't know why people do it! Surley they must be at the bodyshop every other week getting them fixed back up again. I know I wouldn't be able drive 2 miles around the area I live in without leaving half of that bumper on the road. I'd also imagine it totally spoils your enjoyment of the car considering it significantly limits where you can take it.
