View Full Version : For Sale 2JZ-GE VVTi Engine, gearbox, brakes, rims from mk2 Lexus GS300 Sport
Hi,
I am having to break my lovely 1999 Lexus GS300 Sport due to repair prices for a brake booster (2 grands worth!).
Since it's the same engine as the N/A Supra, plus it's VVTi, I thought someone off here might find bits useful.
The engine is strong, has done 110k with full lexus history. 5 speed auto gearbox is available too. I have no idea about pricing, so make me an offer if you want the engine or gearbox.
The original Lexus 18 inch Sport rims are available too for 250 quid for a set of 5 along with the centre caps also. See pic below.
Oh, I have fitted a Blitz customised induction kit to the engine also, which is available separately for 100 quid (it's the blitz cone filter for the aristo twin turbo model that i made a pipe for). Sounds lovely even on my car!
Front 3G grooved discs with Endless SSS pads and OEM calipers available. (discs and pads just 3 months usage)
Rear OEM discs, pads and calipers available also.
Please do let me know asap if you want anything as it's being stripped of parts at the moment.
Cheers.

would that filter fit my na by any chance??
If the rims are the same size/offset as the more usual Lexus GS rims(?), I'll take them.

i have no clue, but hopefully this bigger picture might be of help?

Ok mate. You have a deal. I can supply pics of each individual wheel once they are off the car if you like before committing. There is some kerbing/bubbling.
Yes, they are Lexus GS rims OEM spec for Sport models. Actually made by OZ racing when you look on the insides!
I also have a set of 4 BRAND NEW BOXED TRD 18x8 rims that have never been mounted on the car. I bought a spare set from the States. They are genuine TRD, triple plated chromes. I swapped the 245/40 tyres from my Lexus OEM Sport rims straight onto the TRD rims.
The pics below show the exact same model of rims fitted to my car.
Those were originally designed to replace the SC430 dinner plate wheels in California.
First offer over 800 quid gets them. I just have to double check where the lug nuts that came with them are. They are special individual locking ones. I would also throw in a 5th TRD chrome rim that you could use as a spare. However, bear in mind the 5th one would be USED and has got pitting on the rim surface.

Do they look like this (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=47824&d=1164898472)? So long as they're straight I'm not fussed about kerbing/bubbling. :)

No mate. Those are the Mk1 Sport rims. I have the Mk2 Sport rims which you can see in the first picture at the top of this thread.
What a shame as thats a nice looking car. Love the colour too. Cant you be nice and rob a brake booster thingy off a scrapper?

ok cool, sorry - do you know the sizes & offsets? If they match those of the mk2 I'll still take 'em - they're for track rubber. :)
Just check the rears are the wider ones Steve. Many Aristos run the same width all round I think?

They are 18x8s all round. I can't remember offset, but they are standard fit on Lexus GS mk2. A member called Vijay on here has shown interest in these rims too.

8" all round = no good for me, sorry chap - Vijay is in luck though! :)
Just got off the phone with the garage. The cost to me of getting it stripped out is just not worth it.
As a result, I am now selling the car as it is.
Brake booster needs replacing
Oxygen sensor needs replacing
2nd hand bumper - damage to water bottle/front foglight wiring
N/S wing damaged
O/S wing, driver's door, passenger door and rear wing damaged
Undetermined damage to O/S suspension - coilover, brake discs intact, but the wheel is broken
I will also throw in the 5 original Lexus 18 inch sport rims for the buyer.
Car is currently located in Rayleigh, Essex.
The car does start, but is not driveable, due to the damaged O/S rim.
You will need to make your own arrangements to pick it up.
Car is advertised on other forums. First genuine buyer who can pay at least £1,250 will get the car.
It's worth more than that if you strip it out, or could make a project car.
See pics below.
