View Full Version : Tv - Pushing Daisies *spoiler*
Is ace,
realy good Tv,
Anna Freil does us proud, her acting is very good in this as well as being stunning,
but overall a great novelty idea of a show.
-------------------------------------
To summarise,
its about a boy who lives next door to a girl called "chuck" or Charlotte,.
the young boy realises he can make things come back to life after they have died with one touch.
However,,
once he has brought them back to life the next touch kills them,.
also if he doesnt kill them again within 1 minuite then someone else must die as compensation.
later on in life he go`s around being paid to find out how certain people died,.. for him its easy - touch them ,bring them back for a few seconds and ask them.....
He gets a job to discover who killed Chuck........ (anna friel)

not my bag at all. Thought it was the usual American style programme that drags a 30 minute episode out to 60 minutes without really going anywhere.
Wont be watching it again.

What did you think of Anna Friel Branners ?
I really loved it too, set similarly to desperate houswives (which I love) will definitley be watching next week. :)
Kristin Chenoweth is more my type...worth a Google image search.

Watched it too but didn't go much on it.
Much prefered Chuck on Virgin1 instead.
(And the chick was cuter too.) ;)

i dint think much to chuck either, pretty lame and slow, the best bit was his rogue CIA mate at the begining
I liked it, It reminded me of the new Charlie and the chocolate factory for some reason
Strange show but thats what gets me watching tv these days

It's quirky but I liked it although I hope they use the narrator less.

I think thats why it seemed like the Charlie and the chocolate factory film, Thats narated all the way through
Once again football is the most important thing, to hell with everything else:

Pretty poor though considering the number of alternative channels ITV have available to show the episode / other things.

We as a nation are not in the European championship.
You may not be in any ITV drama's but you star in alot of Mkivsupra dramas. :D
Considering the amount of press they've given this programme (even advertising it in the cinema) you'd think they'd just put it on another channel.
If there are any dramas on ITV that instantly puts me off because I just think of rubbish Miss Marple or something.

Thrilled! "We" can't wait.

I suspect not. ;)
It's a little contradictory to him raising the original point, unless of course he literally meant to hell with everything else.
Ermmm actually, maybe he's a football hooligan.
Why don't they just show a double episode?
Why don't they just show a double episode?
With no adverts and no "I'm American, I need a big recap" bit so that it doesn't eat into the schedule too much?
TBH I'll just wait for the box set.
maybe episode 2 is on catch up tv or something instead ?
like ITV2 ?

episode 2 wasnt much to shout about anyway. Like they say episode 3 is where it gets the storyline going.

That's not really the point though, most episodes of Coronation St suck donkey balls but they still show those.
