just seen a soop for sale on a "53" plate, the garage reckons its a 1996, i have done a dvla check and it was manufactured in 1994 and first registered in 2003 it seems a bit wierd to me BUT i may be wrong i didnt think you could register a 1994 car on a 2003 plate??????? here's the link

I believe there has been an odd car that has slipped through the net and been given reg plates for the year of import.

Mistakes do happen col when the plate represents the year of 1st register in this country rather than manufacture.

And even though it was first registered in UK after '01 it's still taxed at £185.
