merckx
You're asking if a bonnet will suffer long term damage if it's been exposed to the rain?

liam1
no-last year after keeping my car covered during all the rain we had my bonnet developed loads of marks and when i took it to a body shop they said rain had got into the paint because i had used the cover too much they reckon some rain must have some how got through the cover and when the sun came and dryed the cover it also dryed the rain into the bonnet creating the marks

suprascott
Mate if you have a proper water proof fitted cover which they do for the supe which is also breathable you shouldnt have any probs,if its breathable the water will evaporate, get a proper cover.I have to say i have never experienced this when using a correctly fitted cover, hope this helps
