vvteye
On my way home tonight I pulled up to turn off the main road and steam came pouring out of the bonnet. I nearly crapped myself thinking that either that blingy battey cover had set fire to the car, or that it had blown despite no warnings on the gauges. Opened the bonnet and water was p*ssing over the turbo and once it had calmed down the high temperature hose which goes into the turbo was the cause. I've cut the offending inch off and it looks like it got scorched by the only bit of turbo not covered by the beanie. Hopefully there is enough pipe to just reconnect which I'll do in the morning but in the meantime... this is the offending article!
dr_blackman
Doh, least it was only the hose Jon! Your mrs would kill you doing another engine build lol
