Is this the correct connection

Sorry but i stole the photo, the small rubber hose in the center, is this the correct connection?

I think mine is different.

That hose should have a T in it which goes to the stock fuel pressure regulator. Its also a good place to put a take off for a boost gauge or boost controller.
