Firestorm
now i know many of you on here stick to OEM air filters.. and ive also heard TRD panel filters are good.. but ive also heard good things bout the ther K&N filters. Anyone got one of these on.. and would you fit and normal panel filter or the induction Kit? which would be a better option? ps. if you still would stick with oem or trd raiser your hand lol

Firestorm
K&N for me.. Works well the panel filter or the induction kit.. does the induction kit make any difference?
Suprash
Induction kits dont make any difference unless your a large single, thats the only time one is actually needed where the stock air box becomes a restriction, otherwise its purely a more cosmetic look like mine, as you could see a black plastic box with black plastic piping would ruin this look But you can do more to reduce the associated risks of running an induction kit, like boxing the air filter in, and making sure its vented/ducted well. Some folks on here dont like induction kits as they tend to suck in hotter air temps from the engine bay, but as I said you can do some simple things to minimise this
Firestorm
dude that look cool! as u said cosmetic but looks very nice! where did u accquire your shinny parts from(intake) not FMIC but turbo pipes- i have some but im wondering if getting some nicer looking chrome pipes wil be worth (especially with the blue conecting parts- purely cosmetic an for no other reason than a bling bay) think i need to decide either induction kit or stay with not box. Gaz Walker
Blitz comes top on my list - just as cheap as stock, better filter. £30, half the price of TRD which is exactly the same. Gaz.

All the stock turbo pipe work was polished by Colin on the forum, Colsup I think he is The induction pipe work that leads from the filter to the turbo pipe work was bought as part of the HKS filter for a MAF Supra and I then bought a Blitz filter to go on the end of that as I the HKS mushroom filters are not recommended.
