Leather Seat Re-Trim

While removing the seats to take them for re-trimming I was wondering why I was spending so much money when the cloth looked fine. But the end result was worth it. The re-trim bloke used the original vinyl backs and did a fantastic job.

They certainly look very well done.

If they were done in genuine original leather that will be why they cost so much. Jurgen from jm imports does them for a very good price on here too.

they look like they will be more comfy as they look more poofed out, did you get new foam in aswell, or is that standard practis for a retrim?

The leather cost roughly £200 with a further £250 for the re-trim. Foam liner was used below the leather and 'poofed (?????????) out' where needed.

thats not a bad price then really? its only going to add value to the car aswell

mine cost £1280 for a full trim in red leather (front seats, rear bench, door armrests) with some special stitching.

yes just the fronts only, they are nappa leather seats,apparantly the best? would of liked the whole lot done but was to much at the time, i might get the doors and bench done sometime.
