rear seat removal

Really? I just pulled mine out. There are a few plastic clips holding it in place at the front. I pulled upwards at the front and that seemed to do the job nicely. I pulled both ends at the same time though, one hand at the center of each side of the seat.

as above, then at the bottom of the top half, a bolt on each side is revealed, then fold the seat down, revealing a bolt on each side at the top (near the boot carpet)4 bolts in total
