I always pay my insurance in one lump some as I don't want the headache of monthly debits/payments.
As my insurance is running out in a couple of weeks, the insurance company (Direct Line) send me a letter to say....
"your insurance cover is due to expire on xxxx date, so we shall be automatically taking the renewal payment on your policy with the card details on file"
Cheeky buggers....what if I don't want to take out the cover with them again? they assume that they can just take without really asking by sending me a warning/notification letter...I know thats the point of sending it but they are a little cheeky if you ask me.
On a nother note, I sold my Supra so insurance on that car is no longer needed, but I only have a couple of weeks left on the policy so I am not going to say anything to them just incase I lose an extra years no-claim bonus. Should this be a problem? I can be cheeky too....
