Was it worth it?

I bought a bettery cover from Ady and before realising that these are best fittted over the clamp and terminals I had got terminal holes drilled out and rubber grommets fitted as so:

Then I realised that the terminal clamps looked crap so bought some more and put them on.

Now I can't decide if it was worth the effort.

how u get the blue under the battery cover ? Is that just some sort of sticker ?

It looks good. Just measure the points between the 2 terminals for every future battery you get or you'll get it back and the cover wont fit

That's what I was thinking but you would've to be a right idiot to fit a metal cover like this so I'm assuming it's plastic.

Yup, this isn't a good idea..even with the grommets protecting, it they for some/any reason manage to rub they could fuse to the posts turning that into a very hot metal plate

Next you'll be saying I cut the leads off the old terminal and then they wouldn't stretch to the new ones
