Highly annoying CD player problem!

It won't eject the bloody disc! I've had a CD in there for about a week, went to change it today and although it knows there is a disc in there, pressing the eject button does nothing! It's a Kenwood . . . something. I've tried removing and replacing the faceplate a few times and switching the ignition on and off, but it doesn't even try and eject the CD, if you press it while the disc is playing it doesn't even hesitate, just ignores me.

I'm a big AC/DC fan but I'm getting a bit bored of this album now . . . :eek:

I had a CD stuck in my old Sony, I 'reset' it and it came out ?? :conf:

2 simple options...


1, Remove power from the unit for about 30 seconds and retry..

2, Drive to Maidstone and I'll get it fixed for you ;)



Edited to add the 3rd option... A large screwdriver! :innocent:

same here, reset button on my sony chucked CD out unfortunatly did lose all my settings, but worth it to change the CD!

Can't see a reset button anywhere, will try disconnecting it at the weekend. Cheers guys!

(Ad'.. "reset" usually the little 'dimple-to-push-with-Biro' type-thing ?)

(sorry Matt... I know YOU'd 'technically' 'disassemble' the wiring
'matrix' (?) and leave for exactly the 'Sony-Specified' length
of time....... 10mins,32.43secs ??)
