Small gripe

Thanks for the great looking new Racing Hart wheels and Tyres.

One small complaint though. We had agreed over the phone when I ordered this set that the price included fitting and balancing of the tyres. 1 week ago, we spoke on the phone again about the tyres coming in and it was verified they had arrived and were to be fitted this Monday (24th) and sent the same day or on Tuesday for next day delivery.

I then phoned again yesterday (25th) to verify everything was set and was told it was in delivery and due to arrive. They did arrive looking great, but to my suprise Wheels in boxes and Tyres seprately.

I phoned you today to find out what the problem was, and I was told you tried to get ahold of me Thursday, Friday, and Saturday to tell me you couldnt fit and balance them due to shipping problems. Its just hard for me to believe as I had no phone calls or messages whatsoever. Also, its kind of strange we talked over the phone that week AND just yesterday, but none of this was mentioned. When I talked to you today, you said fitment and balance wasnt included in the price anyways.

Well, I guess its a learning experience for phone ordering. Nothing in writing, but oh well. I just have to find someone to haul tyres in their car separately to a garage now and shell out the dosh for balance and fitment. C'est la vie.

All in all, the wheels look great and I am happy for your prompt shipment. Im just a bit let down with our unfulfilled spoken agreement.

From our conversation on the phone, I could tell you thought there was a problem.

I agree with your points, unfortunately Kevin is in a meeting at the moment, so I can't comment on wether the original deal included fitting and balancing, I would assume it would also.

I did try and contact you several times, your missed calls on your phone will show I did.

As I explained, there was no way the tyres would fit in the original boxes and we would have to have new boxes made for all the wheels we sell to include tyres - which would have taken weeks according to our packaging supplier.

Also, Kevin did try and explain how the tyres were sent yesterday, but you put the phone down before he even got the sentance started (I was in the office when you called).

Knowing that you wanted to receive the wheels promply and not being able to contact you I made the decision to send the wheels and tyres as they arrived.

However, as a matter of an apology, I waived the delivery charge (over £40) to make it right.

I am sorry that you felt this was bad business practice.

Yes, I have been dying to. I just got my digital camera back from Roy yesterday. Theiving bastard!! :D

They look absolutely stunning and fit the car styling perfectly!
