package it up and dont tell them what it is - if they ask just say car parts. and if anything happens then act dumb and say you never knew there was a expolsive charge in it.

put some FRAGILE and handle with care stickers on it to cover your own back :eyebrows:

OK, had a word with Royal Mail. To post it needs to be "an exceedingly hard box" that it is sent in. So what with the cost of buying the box and the increased weight it would mean the postage is going to be quite lot! Where are you from Richie? (I'm in Cambridge)

Putting fragile and handle with care stickers on and claiming ignorance to the fact don't quite match up though. Seeing as they know who sent it, I would prefer to not risk it (and I don't want to blow some poor postmans face off either - even if I can get away with it) :-)

i got one of these of ebay a while back it came in a normal cardboard box but was very well packaged to be honest id just risk posting it as long as it packed well etc.

also its possible to remove the airbag unit from the front cover so it can be packaged sepearately if that helps

Reminds me when I left my bag on the train at Kings Cross. Got on the tube, realised after a few stops, so jumped on tube going back, which then stopped in the tunnel just outside Kings Cross. My mind ran riot that Kings Cross had been closed off due to a "suspect package" - had my passport in there too so easy to find out who it was :-)

hi this was the case when i bourght mine they do fit as they have the same spindle size however if you want to fit the airbag so it works im not sure how easy it is as testing it is not really possible i just left the airbag unit out of it as i like the look of the 4 spoke hope this helps you
