quick wheel size question

I am currently looking into buying some 18s for my supra do i have to go for 8.5 front 9.5 rear, its just when looking at wheels i have found ones i love but are 7.5, can any one tell me what i should look for or avoid with sizing on the wheels,

you need to go at least 8.5 on the front and 9.5 on the rear mate,

 

No you dont; you can easily run 8 on the front and 9 on the rears.

 

there is a FAQ on the forum on wheel and tyre sizes, read up on that - it includes a very useful excel spreadsheet with an in-built calculator.

You may be able to run a narrower wheel but why would you want to?

 

If your plans are to run the same or a larger tyre width than the standard supra. It is probably best to run at least the same width wheel as stock. At least this way, it gives you room to manover if you decide to run wider tyres at a later date.
