View Full Version : Skyline owners R33 - converting to one?!
I think im converting...
Had a good look round one at a meet in Hull today, a beautiful white'n. It just took me away, also it had a turbo :)
What does it feel like to go from a Supra to a Skyline? I suppose it would be a jump from an n/a to a T. The prices at the mo are good. There is one about 25 miles away from me for 4k.
Not sure if I should get one :search:

Try an insurance quote first ;)
NA is pretty much the same as an GTS-T.
Plus GTS-T's are bloody common

It will be cheap eitherway ;)
I like Skylines, until I get it one.......just couldnt live with that dash over the Supra's layout.........

Only if it is going to be a GTR otherwise forget it against a Supra, the GTS is just not the same build quality
Personally I prefer the R34
Not keen on the R33 interior is bland. Exterior is bland, oh hang now I think of it they are just bland. On the upside you could get away with using bus and taxi only lanes :D

I know whats its like to go from a standard engined GTST to a 460bhp TT6. my sykline is a lot safer round corners and in the wet. supra looks better (cos of the kit), is better build quality, and more planted and sure footed in a straigh line.
skyline feels and looks like a cereal packet with wheels, although its road grip and handling was superior in the twisty bits.
thats all :)
