I am organising a club stand for us all at Euro drift championship at Knockhill.
Tickets will be £15

Count me in, although I won't be there until around lunchtime as I'll be in Ireland Friday and Saturday for the NW200 bike race. We're booked on the 07:30 a.m. ferry from Belfast on Sunday morning though!!
I'd be up for this if I'm not out on a Survey vessel.

As far as I know its only the Sunday that the 'show' is on, we're just going down on the Saturday so we can get there early on the Sunday :)

You might see a few Time Attack cars as there's a track day for them to get used to the track on the Saturday.

EDIT: I have now purchased a ticket online for this, just bought one normal ticket so irrespective of 'the stand' at least I'll get in to see the action :D
yep, just got my tickets off the knockhill site aswell just in case.
Problem is, I had to get 'collect at boxoffice' as I was worried I might not recieve them on time throught the post. I'm guessing' its just collect at entrance as I've never been to knockhill before.
I'm hoping there wont be a problem just buying on the day.... any more news on if we have a stand or if its just the car park for us?
I will be talking to Gemma, the events manager at Knockhill, this afternoon to establish if a club stand has been organised. I phoned her earlier and she said that our club name does not ring a bell however she is coordinating the list later and will call me back this afternoon. If it has been organised correctly it will be £5 per car for the clubstand with no additional charge for entry so a saving of £10. She stated that only Supras would be allowed on to the stand and Quote: "no cars you see every day in tescos car park". I am hoping this has allready been sorted but due to the lack of response from our events organiser I thought I would chase it up as it is getting a bit late to sort out. I will update this afternoon.

I will get more details this afternoon but I am sure any supes are fine I think they are just concious that because its cheaper they may get any old tom dick or harry trying to get in for less or worried about people selling on clubstand passes for a profit. If it has not been sorted I will try and get the clubstand passes sorted and distribute them when we meet for the drive in on the Sunday morning.

I have spoken to Gemma and we didn't as yet have a stand sorted so I have filled in all the paper work and returned it and confirmed by phone it was all received and the club stand is now sorted. I have pm'd Ian R and passed on the details and asked that he provide a club banner etc. So all is good.
One minor issue is that we must all be set up on site by 0930hrs on the Sunday as there is a no movement policy when the gates first open so I suggest we all meet at Hallbeath services as suggested but at 0845hrs to ensure we are there in time. I hope this is OK.
All drivers are required to pay £5 to get themselves and their vehicle onto the stand, all passengers pay full price of £15. I will be collecting club stand passes on Sat Afternoon for the drivers, passengers if you have any can pay online or on the gate when we arrive.
Please all turn up now as this has all been a bit last minute and too late to collect monies from you all in advance so I am paying for the club stand passes and then collecting from the drivers direct on the morning of the event. If anyone wishes to query costings etc please feel free to call knockhill direct.
If anyone on the list cannot make the deadline time to be setup please let me know so I don't pay for tickets we don't need. Any queries please PM me and please please turn up.
Anyone else with a banner or club stuff please take it along and remember membership cards.

Halbeath? Is that next to the Cinema and stuff?
Dunno where Halbeath is - usually us Central folks meet up at the Forth Bridge McD's before heading over the bridge. This would work for us to then Head to Knockhill so I propose anyone this side of the water meets at this spot at 08.30, we'll leave by 08.45 to get us to Knockhill in plenty of time.

The only purpose of meeting up was to distribute the club stand passes which I was going to pick up on the Sat I believe Halbeath is the closest services and the first one you come to once you have crossed the bridge and not far from knockhill (9 Miles).
Dont meet him he's not on our stand - the Enemy!!!!
I have pm'd Eck and asked him to post directions to Halbeth services for those that need to pick up tickets as I know roughly where it is but not sure!

I think I have worked out where the Halbeath services are and have no problems doing a two stage meet so the guys that are meeting at McD's can get up to Halbeath.
What do people think?
I take it from looking at the map that Halbeath is on the way so those meeting at McD could swing in by if they need to collect tickets and then all head in the last 9 miles together not fussed either way or if there is a way to dish out tickets at knockhill I can do that. As long as we all get there at some point and I am not out of pocket...lol

The other side of the forth road bridge the BP there used to sell the 102 at about £2.46 a litre got to be worth a shot if they still do it. I would phone Knockhill and check as that is some awsome fuel.

ok guys here is directions to hallbeath services
from edinburgh you will cross the forth bridge then you want to take the dunfermline exit from the M90 then at the roundabout you want to be taking the 4th exit, once you exit the roundabout keep a eye to the right you will see toyota garage, you will approach the next roundabout you want the 3rd exit from that then you will see the petrol station on youre left pull in there and you will see the truck filling pumps, best to park behind them, there is a huge open space there so all the supras will get in no probs, and the petrol station has a bloomin good carwash so if you guys need a wee clean up it will be best done there as there are no other garages to knockhill from there
i am hopeing to get there but it will be in the G/F's C2 as i will have the wee boy with me(and the G/F)

Think it's gonna be busy...Clan Japan also meeting at Halbeath although they are meeting at 0800 so we might miss them.
Just realised I already agreed to a round of golf at 7AM on Sunday morning so depending on the weather I'll be along after that so I'll just get you guys up there, probably around 11AM. If it's raining I'll come to the bridge as planned cos I hate golf in the rain!!!

hey, just a couple of small confirmations - shall those of us meeting at the bridge meet fifteen minutes earlier to give time to get to halbeath (say 8.15 for 8.30 departure), I think 15 mins should be enough to get there - right?
second thing I haven't been to any club meet ups before and to be honest my Supra isn't exactly show class - got a few stonechips/scratches etc. and I don't want to risk showing us up on the stand, is that gonna be alright to have non-perfect examples there ?

Your car will be fine they all have a few stone chips etc don't worry about it, I will see you at Halbeath.

Was at knockhill today for an SIDC day...absolutely pissed down!
It's a lot dryer now, fingers crossed it'll stay that way for tomorrow (my car WAS clean but is now minging and I can't be arsed cleaning it again).
Saw Keith and Eve's cars there today, no sign of them though when I left at about half past two (was gonna see if you guys fancied a pint but alas, no contact number/s).
Whifbitz cars looking good as per usual, nice to meet Paul although Steve and Mr Weeks hadn't arrived yet...lazy buggers.

yeah - was really good to meet you all and see your cars. My first supra event, and I would definitely like to come to more in the future! Hopefully will get the chance to catch up with you all at the next event.
